Visit to Albania

August 2nd, 2009 Ervis 1 comment

Task Aid will be visiting Albania on August 18th until September 30th.  We would like to hear from our supporters: what are some issues or concerns that we should look into while in Albania? Is there a particular area or sector where Albania needs the most assistance? Your comments and questions are very important to us and all ideas are welcomed . Thank you.

What does Task Aid do?

July 23rd, 2009 admin No comments

Task Aid provides educational, social and medical assistance to developing countries. We assist students with supplies and materials necessary to achieve academic success. Programs include but are not limited to: interior and exterior renovation of school property, incorporation of a library within each school, awarding of book grants, and distribution of supply packets to children twelve and under. Our social programs are directed towards orphanages and the disabled, who are regretfully overlooked by their societies. We use all resources to exhaustion in improving the overall standards of living for each child and make sure their civil liberties are respected. For medical assistance, we focus on bringing hospitals up to speed with the western health care system and by ensuring adequate quantity and quality of medical supplies; providing timely care by increasing the number of ambulances per region and upgrading the emergency response system to create a positive change for the general public. Time is of the essence when it comes to healthcare, so it is of vital importance that medical personnel reach citizens in time. Task Aid will be the spark within each country responsible for the advancements of society.

Task Aid Mission

Task Aid is a politically independent non-profit organization working to make a positive difference in the lives of underprivileged persons of Southeast Europe through improvements in national education, health, and social welfare systems. We believe in the value of a quality of life that empowers people: access to adequate and appropriate healthcare and social programs allows people to fulfill their potential. We also believe in the power of education: education opens minds and hearts, and produces the future leaders who will grow to positively impact their communities, countries, and world.

We recognize that the nations of Southeast Europe face enormous obstacles to their development. Task Aid aims to assist the people of these nations by providing monetary and material aid with which schools, clinics, orphanages, and other institutions may be improved. Most importantly, we seek to connect people with each other and the ideas that can bring about the positive changes needed in this region of the world. With these beliefs, Task Aid aims to ensure that no child spends a cold night in an unheated orphanage, that no clinic is without medicine, and that no school is without supplies.

History of Task Aid

Task aid was founded in 2009 and is based in Boston Massachusetts, with a mission to make advancements and bring up-to-date the fields of education, healthcare and social system.

Task Aid Vision

Task Aid aims to make a positive difference for every person and community to whom we reach out. Our tireless efforts towards achieving our objectives place us at the forefront of positive social change. Our goal is to be recognized globally as a leader in the non profit sector by continuously working hard towards achieving our objectives. We plan to connect and collaborate with individuals and other organizations who share our vision of a Southeastern Europe that educates, cares for, and is a source of pride for its own people.
